Hight table Concept “High Table” is a creative contemporary dance and drama creation project based on the prevailing socio-political situation. The “High Table” seeks to realize a thematic performance piece that will reflect on the massive impunity, corruption and political deals struck by leaders at the expense of the citizenry and how the poor are pitted against each other. The project aims to put on the spot many vices that are millstones on the development of society, economy and the well being of the up coming generations. High Table also aims to create a new kind of theatre going audience as the piece will be a multi media performance. This hopes to influence the general public to change their negative attitude towards contemporary dance and appreciate its value as a medium of communication that can be used for social change.
